Most World of Warcraft players I know use a lot of addons. I myself use probably around 20 or more, and I’m not likely to use any less anytime soon even though I try to keep it down to a minimum. 
Making sure that all of the addons are updated can be tiresome if it wasn’t for software that can handle this. There are currently a few around that do everything from a decent to a good job and you can read all about them if you read on!

A somewhat surprising bit of news popped up from Zarhym today stating that there will be changes to mounts in the upcoming 3.2 content patch.
In the next major content patch, we intend to adjust mount requirements to further improve the leveling experience in World of Warcraft. In addition, cast times for summoning all mounts will be reduced to 1.5 seconds, down from 3 seconds. The following is a breakdown of the upcoming cost and level requirement changes we are making for each riding skill.

I’ve always had my trusty minimap up in the upper right corner, often cluttered with addon icons. That is, until a month ago when I was installing my new computer and decided to install WoW all over again. Piece by piece, and addon by addon. I decided to do some serious browsing on the addon scene to see what’s new and hot, and came over an addon called SexyMap amongst others. Read on for all the info on this hot addon.

I guess I should really call this the “WoW addons not-really-weekly-but-every-now-and-then new” column. It’s been summer and I’ve basically had a WoW break, as so many others. There’s this summertime blues thing going with World of Warcraft now and it’s not only due to summertime, but also the expansion being so far out. I’m guessing we’ll see it close to x-mas. By the looks of it, it will be awesome, but I wish they could have gotten it done a lot sooner as only a few hardcore guilds on my server are still able to keep things together. Time flies, and it’s been more than a week since my last weekly update on wow addons. I’ll make an effort to try and make these posts more often, but no promises. 
This weeks update will include an update on sRaidFrames, a new major version of Cartographer, and some other tidbits. Addon development has slowed down a lot lately, so there’s not so much to report as I had hoped, sadly.
