There are hundreds of addons for World of Warcraft that improve the gameplay in so many ways and make life easier for the players. Our aim is to highlight some of the best and most useful addons around and give a helping hand on how to best use them. The first addon I’m going to tell you about is the brilliant, but simple, EquipCompare by Legorol.
I’m sure you’ve had times when you have thought “Isn’t there an easy way to compare this new shiny piece of armor with the one I’m wearing?”. Well now there is hope for you. It has been around for quite some time, but perhaps now everyone have found it. EquipCompare will easily compare a piece of armor or a weapon with the one you have equipped. This will work with items in your bags, chat item links and even quest rewards in the quest window.
I’ve learned over the years in World of Warcraft that there are a lot of small things that make the game so much more fun, and addons often add those small things.
The addon should be installed into the same directory on your computer as all other addons, and it should work right away as long as it’s enabled. This is indeed a simple addon, but very useful for most people. You can find the download at http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/166/
